It started with a mutual friend and a stroke of luck. Troy had somehow gotten ahold of Morgan’s Snapchat, and with it, a way to bridge the distance between the two strangers. He sent the first message- a little bold, a little casual - and to his surprise, the conversation flowed like they’d known each other forever. Within days the two planned a date, their first adventure together.

The night, the air was crisp, carrying the scent of smoke and the hum of laughter. The bonfire crackled, painting our faces with golden luck, as we stood amongst a circle of friends, beer pong balls in hand. The game was casual at first, with ,ightnhearted taunts and playful competitiveness.

But when the final shot of the game arrived, Troy turned to Morgan with a grin that was equal parts of confidence and charm. “How about a bet”? Morgan tilted her head, pretending to consider. “What kind of a bet?” “A kiss.”

Morgan laughed and said " and if you miss?"

He replied " I don't miss"

The moment stretched out as he lined up for the shot. The ball arced perfectly, almost in slow motion, before dropping into the cup with a soft splash.

Troy won his kiss and the two have been inseparable since.
